CHGPM Undergraduates Honored with Prestigious Biochemistry Awards

On May 1, 2025, two outstanding undergraduate students from the Center for Human Genetics and Precision Medicine (CHGPM) were recognized for their exceptional achievements in biochemistry research.

Amelia Rancour, a dedicated researcher in the Lang Lab, was awarded the Undergraduate Summer Research Award for her promising contributions and commitment to advancing biochemical science through hands-on research.

Samanyu (Sam) Ambedwadkar, of the Murtaza Lab, received the Physician Scientist Award, celebrating his exemplary integration of biomedical research with clinical insight, reflecting the spirit of translational science.

These accolades highlight the remarkable talent and dedication of CHGPM’s undergraduate community and underscore the center’s commitment to fostering the next generation of scientific leaders.
