Dr. Mehreen Kisat is an Assistant Professor within the Department of Surgery.
Her research interests include focusing on ways to improve outcomes for critically ill patients with sepsis by optimizing recognition, diagnostics, and treatment.
The Kisat Lab is interested in further developing point of care molecular diagnostic approaches to rapidly confirm microbial infections and identify pathogens in ICU patients.
